Education

Dan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of British Columbia in 2011. From there, he attended Thompson Rivers University and received his Juris Doctor in 2016. That same year Dan joined Kidston Helm Ross Lawyers as an articling student and was called to the bar in 2017. He continues to work with the Kidston team as an associate and practices in the areas of Real Estate, Wills & Estate Planning and Business Law.

Community Involvement

Dan is happy to be a regular volunteer with the North Okanagan Realtor Food Drive. Dan continues to be a volunteer mentor for law students at Thompson Rivers, and has also volunteered with the John Howard Society, Vernon Public Art Gallery, and events at the Vernon Courthouse. In addition to volunteer work, Dan enjoys partaking in numerous sports and clubs that Vernon has to offer, he is a long-time member of the Vernon Co-Ed Softball League, and a member at Pacific Top Team Vernon.

Fun

Dan Hutchinson enjoys spending as many moments as he can with wife Britney, their son Ridge, and their canine companion Mina. When he’s not enjoying family time, Dan can be found on the golf course, trying not to double bogey, or on the softball field, trying not to ground out. In the winter, he likes to get up to Silver Star with the family to snowboard or play hockey with friends. A wanderlust at heart, Dan is an avid traveler, always seeking new adventures and experiences.
