Mathew Howard

Matthew is a civil litigation trial lawyer who works with clients to provide practical and viable advice over a range of legal issues.
Matthew was called to the bar in 2010 and established his practice in Vancouver before moving to the British Columbia Interior, where he was raised.
Over the past five years, Matthew has acted as general counsel for the People of Pukaist First Nation. His work has focused primarily on issues of title and rights, as well as specific claims.

Education

Matthew obtained his juris doctor (law degree) in 2009 from the University of Alberta. He presently restricts his practice to Personal Injury, ICBC claims, car accidents, and Estate Litigation.

Community Involvement
​
Matthew volunteered with the Access Probono Society while in Vancouver. He looks forward to finding volunteer opportunities in the North Okanagan.
Fun
In his spare time, you will find Matthew running around a Fastpitch field or skating on a sheet of ice. He also enjoys hiking with his partner Jennifer and dog Ghost.
