Ean Ross

Lawyer

Ean is a second-generation lawyer who was raised in Vernon, BC. He has lived in different areas of the province and the United Kingdom but has returned to the beautiful Okanagan.

Ean’s lifelong ambition has been to become a litigation lawyer. Being a second-generation lawyer afforded him the experience of seeing the practical side of law.

He was called to the bar on May 5, 2021 and looks forward to assisting people navigating their legal challenges. He practices in the areas of Personal Injury, Estate Litigation, and Family Law.

Education

Graduating from the University of British Columbia, Ean headed to the United Kingdom, the place of origin of Canadian Law. In the United Kingdom he won a legal competition held at the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court in front of Lord Hughes of Ombersley.

Ean considers himself lucky to now have friends and contacts who practice law all across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Community Involvement

Ean has devoted a lot of his time to soccer in the community. He volunteered as an organizer for Vernon Indoor Co-ed soccer and plans on returning to this role as soon as it is safe to do so. During his time playing soccer in the Okanagan, Ean has volunteered his time coaching, assisting tournaments, and organizing teams.

While attending Staffordshire University, Ean was an active student donor for the BBC’s Children in Need charity. He looks forward to being involved in Vernon’s charity and community events in the future.

Fun

Ean believes that the Okanagan presents a wonderland for outdoor entertainment. His favourite activity is soccer, which he plays year-round. In the summer he enjoys hiking, riding his bicycle and motorcycle as well as playing squash. In the winter he enjoys snowboarding.
