Jordan Korol

Lawyer

Jordan was born and raised in Coldstream B.C. and is proud to be practicing law in her hometown. Jordan's practice focuses on general civil litigation, Creditor's Remedies/Collections, Estate Litigation, and Wills & Estates. 

 

Education

​

Jordan earned her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2023 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2024. During law school she was a member of the Discipline, Interpretation, and Enforcement board for the Student’s Union, with two published decisions. Additionally, Jordan volunteered for Student Legal Services and was captain of the law faculty’s basketball team.

Jordan graduated from UBC Okanagan with an undergraduate degree in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics. During her time at UBCO she served as captain of the Heat Women’s Basketball team. In 2019, Jordan became the first Heat player to receive a major Canada West award when she was named the Sylvia Sweeney Award recipient in recognition of her outstanding athletic achievement, academic success, and community service. Jordan is also a past recipient of the UBCO Female Outstanding Athlete of the Year award and the UBCO Female Graduating Player of the Year award.

 

Fun

​

Jordan takes full advantage of everything the Okanagan has to offer, including cross-country skiing at Sovereign Lake, trail running in Kalamalka  Provincial Park, and reading historical fiction novels at one of Vernon's local coffee shops. As a UBCO Heat Alumna, she also enjoys coaching youth basketball and volleyball, and has previously volunteered with Ronald McDonald House BC, the Canadian Cancer Society, and Canadian Blood Services.
