Welcome Leanne Rutley to Kidston Helm Ross

We are very pleased to welcome Leanne Rutley to Kidston Helm Ross LLP. Leanne is a highly respected solicitor with over three decades of experience in the legal profession. She focuses her practice on real estate, estate planning, and business law, and has built her career on a strong commitment to client service, providing clear and practical solutions with both knowledge and compassion.

Leanne earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 1987 after completing undergraduate studies in criminology and psychology. Her career has taken her from Winnipeg to Vancouver to Kelowna, before she settled in Vernon in 2002. For 22 years, she practiced at Nixon Wenger before joining Kidston Helm Ross LLP in April 2025.

Beyond her legal work, Leanne has been an active member of the Vernon community, serving on the boards of Community Futures and Colour Me Canine Rescue Society, and as a past member of the Tri-Lakes Rotary Club and Vernon Women in Business. She currently serves on the board of the Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge Society and is passionate about animal rescue.
